We can testify with all responsibility to the purity, safety and potency of our products, as we put these issues under control at every stage. We have 600 tests at our disposal to ensure that our customers receive the best quality every day.
INGREDIENTS
Purity testing is absolutely essential, and one aspect of this testing is to ensure that we obtain and offer the species and parts of plants with the greatest health benefits. A few years ago we performed research on a sample of St. John’s wort purchased from a large national commercial network. Our tests showed that it wasn’t actually St. John’s wort, but another plant from the same family. This product may have been inexpensive, but it was also ineffective! Natures Sunshine has laboratories where it tests every single piece of material. So you can be sure to get the right species and the right part of the plant. Purity testing also ensures that the customer receives only what is specified on the label. What is the danger of lower quality brands? For example, they may contain dirt, stones or insects. Suppliers tell us that if they are able to meet our requirements, they will be able to meet everyone’s, because they are the highest in the industry. We pay more to our suppliers because we require our raw materials to be cleaned. Cleaning is an additional step in the harvest process. However, our aim is not to obtain the cheapest raw materials, but the best purified ones.

Creating new products is exhausting, time consuming and expensive. However, it is always aimed to create the most effective product of the highest quality possible. Internal product development allows us to control the quality of each product from start to finish. We start from scratch, creating our products from the beginning and with each step we build their quality.
The Research and Development Department carefully selects ingredients and examines each new composition, setting standards for the Quality Control Department. Patterns for each ingredient are provided to our suppliers to allow them to ensure the quality we expect.
Another advantage of internal product development is the knowledge we gain in this process. If a question or doubt arises in relation to any of our products, we always find the answer. We already know everything about our products because we have already done all the necessary research before they are developed. We carry out internal stability tests to ensure that the products will stay stable until they are ready for use. We follow the guidelines of the International Conference on Harmonisation to meet the requirements of global markets. The Research and Development Department conducts monthly research on new products for 90 days, both at room temperature and under more difficult conditions.
